Line Accuracy

Greetings and Salutations to everyone!  I have been chipping away at my lessons in my online art course.  It’s hard to do when you have a job, and your tired at the end of the day, but if I want to get better at drawing, then I am going to have to make the sacrifice and do the work in the evenings.

Again, I know these exercises look really boring, but they are important to judge your accuracy and skill.  It’s easy just draw lines all over the place and not really think too much about what you are drawing, but that doesn’t help to make a good drawing.  When I was in college, we didn’t do anything like this.  It was all a very jump – in- and- see -where- you- go kind of way to do things.  It was very contemporary, and not very traditional.  Some teachers think that doing things in the contemporary way is a great to learn, but I think that is true if that is what you want to do with your art work.  That was fun, but now it’s time to sit down and learn all the rules as best as I can.  Got to go now.  Very tired.
